I'm sitting with two travelers from local 250 in L.A. They said southern California is dead on the union side. I don't know how much you're tied to San Bernardino but the bay area is booming right now. As I understand it the bench is empty at local 342. I think it is 6 or 7 hours from San B. I'll PM you.

Hey borgman I'm gonna be hangin out in San Bernardino for a couple months with
a lot of time on my hands. Do you know anything about the work situation down there.
Doesn't have to be rig welding I can operate most any heavy equipment esp track-hoe & rock drill.

Actually been going thru your neck of the rice fields lately. Occasionally working on ADA stair and railing upgrades at an apartment complex on N. Beal Road.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. They where just selling the block, not a complete welder. Sorry for any confusion.

I'll work single hand or rig. Doesn't matter to me as long as the check clears the bank.

I'm about to help a buddy who busted up his hand real bad swap dump boxes on a semi and do a clutch at the same time. Other than that, no welding work lined up.

I've been running my rig doing structural and equipment repair on the side. Keeps me busy enough to get through the slow times. Has there been a decent amount of local work or are you traveling?
