Re: Looking at Maintance/Service truck with crane

You're a ways away but look in California. 10 year old diesels are outlawed for commercial use so you can probably get one pretty cheap.

Re: In the market for a new machine

My Vantage 400 is a year old with about 575 hours. So far so good. I bought the Tru-Remote wireless remote with some upgrades. I can start/stop, change amperage and control the arc force on the fly...

Re: What the FUCK have you knuckle dragging fucks been doing!

My in-laws' white elephant gift exchange. The theme was camping and where we go is loaded with bears. So I made it "bear proof". Caps welded on both ends, obviously!

Re: What the FUCK have you knuckle dragging fucks been doing!

I've been wanting to do this for several years. I finally had the perfect opportunity. Yes, that is a full handle of Crown Royal in there.

Re: Rig brake upgrades

Local parts house gave me the wrong rotors. So I had to put the new $70 fuckin pads on trashed rotors so I could go to work. I ordered upgrades from Summit all the way around. I'll post brands and...

Rig brake upgrades

I have a 2016 F-350 and my brakes are shot at 60k miles. My old GMC went 130k on the original set. Do any of you recommend any particular pad/rotor combo for a rig? Most of my research leads me to...

Re: Well, Facebook Rig-Welders Groups

Haha, I thought EZ-Muny was fully concerned about everybody's feelings and emotional weaknesses. Where is that guy? I could use a bear hug! There were a few times I thought EZ and Weldo were one in...

Re: How long can Speedy tread water?

Sir Speedy,
Getting wet really sucks and I hope you didn't lose much. One reason I'm not on here much lately is that I'm trying to rebuild our place. In January, (then again in February) we got...

Re: Sa200-300d remote

I'm curious too. It uses a 3-wire?

Re: Sa200-300d remote

I would guess that wouldn't work. The SA remotes run three wires because the rheostat and the 110v are both DC power so they are able to use a common ground. The 300 has AC for the 110 so I don't...

Re: Lincoln 300d idle issues

I had a similar issue with my red face. I bumped the idle rpm up to about 650-700 and it was all good.

And one looking up the ass end. Again, I can lock the reels so that I can pull off the rear or off the driver's side. The reels are high enough I have full access to the box drawers. This skid is not...

Re: First rig tips

That grey truck in the background is the ass end of mine. As you can sort of see, it is 100% empty in 10 minutes. This is a shot from above. I was a couple hundred feet up a tower so its a little...

Re: First rig tips

The plate in the rear hinges so when its folded down the v-block is just past the end of the tailgate. Pardon the mess on the deck.

Re: First rig tips

I run a bathtub and have no intention of going to a full body. Everything is connected so it takes about ten minutes to pull it all out and be back to an empty bed. It takes about 15 minutes to have...
