Anadarko Test

Any info on what makes the anadarko test so hard?
I know some seasoned welders who have busted on it and heard out 40 welders a handful passed. Test is 8" sch80 half 7018/8010 and two 2" 7018/8010.

Re: Anadarko Test

A few week ago I busted and 10 others busted the same day. The down hill part is just like a 1104 test but they bend it 3013, so that part can get pretty hard if you don't have a PERFECT and heavy bead, But not too heavy because it also seems like the inspector's for Anadarko are just down right anal. The inspector we had was hard core picky. Busted me because my off side had more root reinforcement then my easy side. Good luck and hopefully the inspector you get is in a good mood.

Re: Anadarko Test

How about someone chime in who has taken this test. What is the actual test? I am interested in knowing is it a 12" test"
- What position like 1G or 6G?
-What rod size and what type of rod do they use for the root?
-What size and type of rod for the fill and is it downhill or uphill?
