Rig welder / Ohio area

Advanced Oilfield Services......Looking for a rig welder at their Mineral City, Ohio yard..... $75.00/hr. ......Must provide a COI, be able to pass various pipe tests, also not able to/or turn your nose up to other misc. work IE.( bolting up structural steel, pipe assemblies, repair/ replace pump parts. Etc.) good people to work for IMHO.....

decent for a break out, what tests?

most Ohio Oilfield outfits will test Min std 6010/7018 sm dia. Sch160 and a relatively small dia
xx10 downhill. Usually No fitting test but Fall short with hand torch skills OTJ and you're done.

Did 6" scd.80 .....6010 & 7018 uphill & 6010 down hill.....& I think 2" scd. 160 ....6010 down hill ........Charley's right about the torch work, seen a guy cut a hole WAY TO BIG in the side of a over flow tank......He gone

Hey smooth you workin at mineral city or out in the field somewhere. It's not too far from my yard & old shop where we weld up the junk iron.
Stop by anytime could use some help. Cant pay much but we don't work all that hard or fast.

in my neck of the woods they will except any Gas Company 1104 or B31.3 papers, more specific to well heads, new and swap outs and casing extension work, but also heavy wall, choke, mud pump work. They figure if you can do that, you can do the heavy Iron...lol that's not always the case though for all of it.

Yeah here in Ohio it's actually pretty hard to find a good independent do whatever it takes rigweldor. Lol with all these displaced line pipe weldors underfoot these contractors have to kiss a lot of frogs to get a "real" weldor.
