Fuck it, I was only getting like 12 hrs a week, so I finished my truck and lined up some contract work. When the boss man found out it was for a place he wanted in with he fired me.

Nobody can live off 12hours a week. But at least you got more work lines up.

Yeah my current projects are decent sized. The other contractors doing our type of work are all booked through the year. The one that fired my ass just bought the company like a year and a half ago, with zero welding industry experience, sent his two kids to a six week welding program, hired me out of an asme code shop, and the old owner stayed on for sales and support, they got into a feud and the guy left. After that shit started to get real slow. I knew this oil supplier from my racing days, got in touch and turns out they had a bunch of tanks needing to be piped!
Has been a stressful year lol over that job at last!

I have the next three weeks lined up for myself. Working on getting a contract that might keep me busy until spring, if and that's a big if it goes through I Will need more hands.
